New Program: Crafting with Cowbell “Pumpkin Sculptures” Thursday October 14th at 6:30 pm to be held at the Library
The Library and Cowbell Trading Post will present a fun hour of crafting on Thursday October 14th at 6:30 pm at the Library. This month’s project will be “Pumpkin Sculptures”: participants will create a lovely decorative piece using wood. Refreshments will be available. On Tuesday October 12th at 6:00 pm the Library will host a virtual program through Zoom on Black Bears in Connecticut with naturalist Paul Colburn. Learn about their behavior, diet, and habitat as well as practial recommendations for optimum coexistence. Mr. Colburn will also highlight Black Bear artifacts for the audience. During the month of October and November, the Library will hosting a series of 6 creative workshops with the organization PeaceLove. The goal of these expressive art workshops is to create peace of mind, foster mental health wellness, and promote resilience.
