Art Program for Teens and Tweens om Marine Conservation Thursday June 23rd at 2:00 pm With Artist Sarah Thornington

Join conservation artist Sarah Thornington as she conducts a workshop on  Marine conservation for Tweens and Teens.  She will discuss her beach-cleanup efforts, her art from marine debris, and help participants create an art piece from debris gathered from her beach clean up work. Take On Technology Classes with the Rhode Island Computer Museum For Girls Starting Tuesday, June 21st at 1:00 pm

Research shows that females are under-represented in the field of Technology. Thanks to a Summer Enrichment Grant from the State Library and IMLS, the Library and the Rhode Island Computer Museum will offer the following classes for girls ages 10 and up  (Limit 15) on the following Tuesday afternoons at 1:00 pm:

July 5: Sonic Pi—Use it To Make Music

July 12: Robots- Learn to Control Mbots and Avoidance Systems

July 26: Video Production- Learn To Use Render Forest  and Make a Video
