The Friends of the Preston Public Library is an enthusiastic group of people working to ensure that the Preston Public Library can continue to provide quality resources to the citizens of Preston. Founded in 2007, this nonprofit organization:

–Fosters closer relations between the library and the community

–Focuses attention on library services, activities and functions

–Promotes the library as a center for lifelong learning

–Raises money to enhance library programs

–Supports policies and funding to strengthen libraries
